FAQs

WHAT IS A BATH BOMB?

Bath bombs are sphere masses of compressed powders and oils that, once added to water, dissolve in an aromatic & effervescent way. The deliciously fragrant and skin-smoothing bath bomb ingredients create a pampering experience that helps decompress and relax.

HOW TO USE A BATH BOMB?

Fill your bathtub or bucket with water, preferably lukewarm. Unwrap the bath bomb gently and drop it into the water. Wait for 3-4 minutes as it effervesces. Step in the bathtub and soak your body, or scoop the water in a mug to pour over your body. Rinse off with pure water after use. Use twice a week for best results and deep relaxation.

HOW CAN I USE A BATH BOMB IF I DON'T HAVE A BATHTUB?

The bath bomb can be used in a water bucket as well. It may also be used in manicure and pedicure services.

WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF USING OF A BATH BOMB?

Not only are bath bombs fun, but they have many benefits. The oils and butters added to bath bombs help hydrate and soften skin. Because they smell good and add fun to bath time, they encourage you to take a longer bath. Relaxing baths relieve tension and stress. A nice warm bath is a comfort that goes a long way.

HOW LONG CAN A BATH BOMB BE KEPT BEFORE USING?

Store the bath bombs in an airtight container or a zip-lock bag, in a cool dark place. This helps to protect the bath bomb from moisture and keeps it from drying out or losing its scent. We recommend using our products sooner rather than later – The longer you wait, the less effective the product will be, unless it is stored well.

CAN THE BATH BOMB BE CUT IN HALF FOR LATER USE?

The bath bombs are designed for single use. They are likely to break and crumble if cut in half, and the pieces will dissolve faster than a whole bath bomb. To get the full benefits, we recommend using the entire bomb in your bath. If you choose to take it out of the water half way through and keep it for later, it might still fizz the next time you use it, but it won't be as effective.

DO BATH BOMBS IRRITATE THE SKIN?

Our bath bombs should not irritate your skin, but they should also not be used with broken or irritated skin. It is, however, imperative to note that reactions to essential oils and scent blends are possible. Therefore, make sure you know what works best for your skin.

DO THE BATH BOMBS LEAVE ANY RESIDUE BEHIND?

The bath bombs contain flower petals, essential oils, and plant-based colors that hydrate the skin wonderfully, but can also cause the pigments and essential oil colours to cling to the tub wall. The build-up is likely to increase with each use so it is best to wipe residue away each time to make cleaning easy. If not, regular cleaning products and a bit of scrubbing may be required.

IS A SHOWER NEEDED AFTER A BATH WITH BATH BOMB?

Showering after a bath-bomb bath is optional. The oils from the bath bomb will leave your skin feeling supple and moisturized, but showering may remove this from your skin. If you feel like rinsing, especially if residues like petals are clinging on your skin, rinsing with plain water after you soak is typically enough.

DO BATH BOMBS EXPIRE?

While the ingredients that are used to make the bath-bombs are natural preservatives in themselves, bath bombs can only last up to 12 months when stored correctly. We recommend not to let it sit around for more than 6 months or else you may find that the fizzing action becomes a little less explosive. Using a bath bomb within a month from purchase will have you experience the best results!
